AGBC seek to provide more than just theological or ministerial knowledge. Our curriculum and classroom interaction takes into account the person and work of the Holy Spirit in the life of an individual. We stimulate knowledge in class while allowing the Spirit to minister to the individual as well. This distinctive Pentecostal emphasis is what makes AGBC unique. There is a very good blend of theory and practice. We consider the classroom as a place of stimulating knowledge, and yet much of our training includes the modeling of servant leadership outside the classroom.

Our Courses
Programs granting the Master of Arts is designed to qualify graduates for specialized ministry. AGBC offers a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (MACM) with specializations in Counselling, Leadership, and Missions and Management. The MA at AGBC provides an opportunity for Christian leaders to develop ministry skills at an advanced academic level. The course requires completion of 30 Credit hours for Theological Bachelor degree holders and 60 Semester Credit hours for Non-Theological Bachelor degree holders
Entrance qualifications
- Successful completion of a Theological/ Non Theological Bachelor’s degree.
- Be Proficient in English
- Be at least 24 years of age
A three-year program designed for those who intend to be fully equipped as Pastors, Teachers, Missionaries Leaders and Church Workers. This program focuses on Biblical and Theological studies. It also requires the successful completion of 108 Credit Hours of study. Course duration: Full time 3 years, Part time up to 5 years.
A three-year 108 Credit Hour program designed for those who are active in ministry. It would provide the needed knowledge, skills and exposure in both theoretical and practical aspects of Christian ministry. Course duration: Full time 3 years, Part time up to 5 years.
Entrance qualifications for Bachelor Programmes
1. Candidate must have a definite call to ministry.
2. Candidate must be above 18 years of age.
3. G.C.E. (A/L) examination passed (12 years of schooling) or has passed G.C.E. (O/L) and has minimum of 4 years in full-time ministry and be above 22 years of age
4. In the absence of academic qualifications an applicant must be above 25 years of age, have 5 years of ministry experience and obtain a provisional registration as a mature student. Such registration will be confirmed upon the successful completion of six courses.
Designed to meet the needs of those intending to be trained in ministry as Pastors Church Workers, Lay leaders and various other forms of service within the local church. This program provides the tools and skills needed for the different types of ministries and a sound Theological foundation. Requirements for a Diploma in Theology are the same as those for a degree except that only 72 Credit Hours of study is needed. Course duration: Full time 2 years, Part time up to 6 years.
this course focuses on those who are already involved in ministry of the church. The courses are designed to provide foundational knowledge in Bible, Ministry and Practice. The Credit requirement is 72 Credit Hours. Course duration: Full time 2 years, Part time up to 6 years.
A 36 credit hour program designed for lay leaders and church workers intending to study further and be equipped for a higher level of Christian Ministry. This level is equal to the first year of Diploma in Theology. A prerequisite to this course would be a minimum of one year church based (part time or full time) ministry. Course duration: Full time 1 year, Part time up to 6 years.

Candidates should be 18 years or above.
Candidates need to have at least one year of field experience.
C.E. (O/L) examination or equivalent.

Tuition and Fees
The following fees structure is subject to change
* Rs 5,000/- reduced from the total amount as rebate for work scholarship.
*When a work program is not followed student will have to pay an additional Rs 5,000/- per month.
**Cost for three subjects- varies upon number of subjects registered for term.
A student will be charged 50% out of their monthly fee on holiday months (April, August, and December)
A limited number of scholarships maybe available each academic year. These scholarships will be granted based on selection of applicant’s suitability.
